San Diego is the third largest city of California and has an amaging array of fun things to do and see.  You might want to plan to visit for weeks or months-yes, there is that much to do!  Weather is excellent most of the year but it is quieter in the winter months especially January and February so if you want to avoid big summer season growds consider visiting non-summer dates.  Make sure to plan to eat in the Gas Lamp District, take a ferry over to Coronado Island for a day, and visit the Zoo, at a minimum!  In summer look for plays in the parks and week end outdoor events like artist bazzars.
